This is a set of two, matched antique plates. These gorgeous antique, hand painted, porcelain plates were made in LIMOGES FRANCE and imported to the USA by the LS&S (Lazarus Straus & Sons) Company of New York, New York ca. 1869. The plates are made of white porcelain and decorated with orange, yellow, pink, green, gold and white floral motifs. The edges of the plates are scalloped and gilded (real gold).
